3rd Patrol Homeland Security Police Facility

Tecton served as a police facility design consultant to RRMM Architects to create a new headquarters for Norfolk's 3rd Patrol Police Operations, Traffic, Homeland Security and Harbor Patrol Units. The intent for this new 38,000 SF facility was two-fold: to consolidate operations and to relocate the combined facility to a new business park, serving as a catalyst in neighborhood revitalization. The LEED Gold certified building balances modern architecture and inviting common spaces, with a large multi-purpose community meeting room and emergency command center to serve the local community.
