Electric Boat Nuclear Support Facility

Culminating a long professional relationship with General Dynamics Electric Boat, Tecton was selected to design a vital new facility – Building 604 – to serve as Electric Boat’s Nuclear Support Facility. The new 4-story building supports both radiological and non-radiological events within the shipyard, and serves personnel from federal and local entities. Special consideration was given to the design of power, data, A/V, acoustics and environmental controls, to ensure that the building is fully operational in the event of an emergency.
