MassMutual’s acquisition of a Retirement Services business triggered a space reorganization, essentially shuffling two very aesthetically and culturally different campuses. Each campus underwent substantial changes to accommodate the respective group’s way of doing business – one very casual, the other quite formal. Tecton’s design carried through the entire visitor arrival sequence, from parking lot to meeting room. Each space was crafted to impress upon visiting clients that their investments were sound within the walls of this 160+ year old company. The new corporate lobby and conference suite feature rich materials and a sophisticated palette of textures and tones in keeping with the company’s legacy.
