Tecton is currently working with the State of Connecticut and Norwalk Community College to transform the campus’s “B-Wing” into a fresh learning environment that elevates the student experience and is reflective of NCC’s diverse community. The refreshed facility incorporates trends in higher education and workplace design, including daylighting, personalization and adaptability, and aligns with local employer engagement programs. The biggest change can be seen in the transition from the 1966 building's double-loaded corridor layout to a flexible floor plan with adaptable learning spaces, casual study areas and a central Learning Commons to accommodate evolving educational approaches.
