Brodie Hall and South Hall serve as a connection from Suffield Academy's existing "house" dorms and "quad" dorms, bringing all boarding life together on campus. The new dormitories balance modern amenities with historic character, including integration of salvageable parts from the turn-of-the-century barn that existed on the site into the structure. Inside, each 20 bed dormitory is arranged in a pod layout with shared bathrooms and study rooms, and provides features like individual temperature controls for student comfort.
