Emergency Response Within a Municipal Campus

Tecton Architects provided programming and design services to RRMM Architects for this 24,500 SF fire station, fire administration and EMS facility. The program includes a three bay fire station and an administration wing with office and support spaces, connected by a central core which houses an Emergency Operations Center, back-up 911 facility and a fire museum. The EMS department is housed in a separate area within the building, and includes administrative space and bunks. The station is located on a four-acre municipal campus, adjacent to the City's Middle and High Schools.
