The Waltham Police Department is made up of 154 sworn officers, serving a blended urban/suburban community of approximately 66,000 people. Tecton is providing design services to the City of Waltham for a new landmark Police Headquarters, to be built on the site of the existing Police Station. Tecton's work began with an initial needs assessment for the department and master planning for the municipal campus, which also houses the Public Works, Fire and Water Departments. With a tight site, the team is also exploring a combination of surface and structured parking to meet the requirements of the City and Department.
