Wheeler Clinic provides integrated behavioral health, substance abuse treatment and primary care across Connecticut. To better support clients and staff, Wheeler enlisted Tecton to establish a new design standard in order to refresh existing spaces and roll out new clinic locations. Tecton worked with the team to understand areas for improved efficiency and functionality, developing a layout that groups disciplines into dental, pediatric and behavioral health “pods.” The design also integrates Wheeler’s branding throughout. Tecton has subsequently implemented this standard across the breadth of Wheeler’s Family Health & Wellness Centers, including Hartford, Bristol, Waterbury, New Britain and Plainville.
