We never lose sight of the fact that it's our people that make Tecton what it is. We are careful to respect the importance of all team members and portions of the project, from innovative design, to detailed management, to the exciting conclusion of construction. This philosophy promotes a healthy attitude in the office and is the core of our project-based team approach. We strive to maintain an open culture and are eager to have everyone contribute to the trajectory our firm.
Our current openings include:
Tecton has called Hartford home for more than 30 years, with a fresh, open studio in the Coltsville Historic District. Our community has seen significant investment in recent years, with neighbors like the Colt Gateway residences, Thomas Hooker Brewery at Colt, and Dillon Stadium, home to Connecticut’s first professional soccer team.
For those venturing farther into Hartford, we are within walking distance of Front Street Landing, UCONN Hartford, Riverfront Recapture’s Riverwalk and other downtown amenities. Flexible, hybrid work schedules, free parking and easy access to routes I-91, I-84 and Route 2 draw staff from throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
Tecton has maintained a Rhode Island studio since 2000, and recently relocated from Westerly to Providence. Housed in the historic American Locomotive Company (ALCO) plant, our Providence office offers a small-studio feel, backed by the capabilities of a 50+ person firm.
The ALCO campus features amenities like an on-site café, free parking and abundant green space. With a hybrid work model and easy access to Routes I-95, I-195, Route 6, Route 146, and I-295, this office is within reach to commuters from Rhode Island, Eastern Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts. Off-site amenities like the Amtrak/MBTA Station, Providence Place Mall and Waterplace Park are all within a short walk or bike ride as well.
