From Gymnasium to Contemporary Performance Venue

The Hubbard Music Center began as a former gymnasium that Tecton converted into a contemporary teaching, practice and performance venue. Tecton’s design is respectful of the existing structure, while creating a dynamic new image and presence for Loomis Chaffee’s popular music and choir programs. The renovation and addition created a 290-seat professional quality performance hall, new lobby and concourse, rehearsal hall, practice rooms, studios, and supporting spaces.
